Controller support…or lack thereof
Hey all, I just wanted to clarify the controller issue people have been talking about. Yes, overall, it is a poor situation for controller users. I understand – I prefer controllers over keyboard almost any day of the week. The way the game is programmed, if a controller is plugged in at all (even if you plan on using the keyboard to play), it breaks the walk animations. It also causes a game-breaking bug I have not been able to fix that happens early on in the game – but only if a controller is plugged in. For these reasons, I needed the game to exit if a controller is plugged in.
Unfortunately, I do not have the time to fix it (2nd semester just started). I apologize. It is not ideal, but it is the best I can do regarding the situation.
